A force for good, you can be, hmm?
“Art Awakens” starts today! Amateur artists from across America can submit their fan art from the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens film for a chance to have their fandom showcased professionally at the world famous Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles.
You have two months to submit your entry here: Art Awakens
Winners’ art will be featured and auctioned off in a professional showcase that will benefit a great cause! Lucasfilm and HP have teamed up to get kids moving with UNICEF Kid Power. Kid Power provides much needed lifesaving packets to malnourished children across the globe.
Embracing the world’s first “Wearable-For-Good” tech, each time a child wearing the Kid Power Bands is physically active, they gain points, and those points are converted to funding by generous partners.
So from Kashyyyk to Kathmandu, the galaxy benefits.
The winners will be judged by a committee of members from Disney, Lucasfilm and ILM . . . no pressure. If your art is selected, you may also be chosen to attend the VIP opening night in Los Angeles.
