UPDATE!!! – Fathom Events has added a SECOND NIGHT!!! You can now purchase tickets for July 26th!
Pay attention, you do not want to miss this ONE TIME event. For one night only, Fathom Events will be showing Batman: The Killing Joke in select theaters near you. That’s Monday, July 25th! Mark your calendars, buy your tickets, and get ready to see something that nothing will prepare you for.
The original voice talents return with Kevin Conroy as the caped crusader and Mark Hamill as the fiendishly disgusting clown, Joker. Bruce Timm is also back as the executive producer and will easily make this night one for the history books. Fathom Events had to expand their outreach to more than 1,000 theaters nationwide, because the demand was so high for this film.
This film is Rated R, as in you really shouldn’t bring the kids to this one . . . you’ve been warned!
Personally, I haven’t read this story-line, but I am familiar with its content thanks to my reading of Dr. Travis Langley’s Batman and Psychology: A Dark and Stormy Knight. I am also vastly familiar with the online controversy of the image showing a certain damsel in distress in too much apparent distress that fired up all the feminists. I won’t get into that here, but, this film will certainly leave a mark on your psyche.
If you don’t catch the Fathom Events screening on Monday, I guess you can always buy it on Blu-ray. But that would just be a crying shame, Bats!
