I finally saw Into the Spider-Verse. Madison really had no desire to see this one, so I called on my good buddy, Amadarwin to record a conversation about the movie. We go way back, and without Amadarwin, there’d be no Film Grouch site.
We asked some hard questions about Miles Morales. Did he develop enough through his hero’s journey? Was there anything special about him? He isn’t a chemist, his parents are still alive, and apparently he has his own Aunt May who is so locked into things, it begs belief.
Still, we loved this film and all the different Spider-people . . . and pigs.
Some questions we tackle:
- Does the world need another Spider-Man?
- Do you know anyone who doesn’t like Spider-Man?
- Would Toby Keith make a good Spider-Man? Or would he have daddy issues?
- Does Spider-Gwen need her own movie now?
- Is Tom Holland “Dad bod Spider-Man” in the future?
- Who is the best Aunt May?
- Does anyone else miss playing City of Heroes and City of Villains?
If that’s not enough for you, we also touch on Infinity War and Superman vs. Batman.
