Swift take: It’s funny, Director Judd Apatow said “I only made this film as an excuse to do the tour one day. And now that day has come!” I love hearing things like this about films I want to check out. That they weren’t put together for the sake of making a buck. Not only is Apatow making a (hopefully) fun flick, he’s a real philanthropist. I am a pretty big fan of Schumer’s stuff on Comedy Central and the occasional appearance in other films. I look forward to seeing how she handles a lead spot – especially as the film’s writer.
