What I learned from “Next Day Air”: if you mistakenly receive a package and the real recipients of the package come to get it from you, give it to them. Don’t ask questions. Just do it.
“Next Day Air” stars Donald Faison as Leo, a lazy, unmotivated delivery man. When he drops off an important package to the wrong apartment, it sets off a chain reaction of events that impacts about ten people’s lives.
This is one of those movies where there are different groups of people with different stories going on who don’t really know each other, but at the end of the movie everything ties together. So, if you are looking forward to seeing this movie, and find yourself getting confused while watching it, don’t give up!!
While this is not normally a movie I would go see, I did enjoy it, but I probably wouldn’t watch it again. Mos Def’s character Eric, in the few scenes he was in, provided laughs. Donald Faison’s character was also funny. The rest of the characters did not appeal to me. Probably because they were drug dealers, drug users (and I stay away from that stuff cause drugs are bad, mmmmmkay), or criminals.
Inept criminals, a botched delivery, and lots of cocaine. That’s this movie in a nutshell.
Warning: this movie contains strong language, violence, and drug use. Leave the kiddies at home please!
